Montello Manor is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our dynamic care team!

In this fulfilling role, you will assist with planning and organizing engaging activities that provide opportunities for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and self-expression. Our vibrant activities program is designed to fulfill the psychological, physical, social, and spiritual needs of our residents, helping them thrive and enjoy a high quality of life every single day.

Key Responsibilities

& Essential Functions Activity Planning & Execution: Help plan, organize, and lead diverse recreational programs that cater to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our residents. Community Engagement: Foster a warm, welcoming environment, using your strong communication skills to connect meaningfully with residents, staff, and families.

Independent Coordination: Bring strong organization and time management to the role, working independently and flexibly to keep our daily calendar running smoothly. Schedule & Work Environment Schedule: Structured shifts designed to keep residents active and engaged. Work Location: In-person community setting.

What We Are Looking For

High school graduate or equivalent certification (CNA certification is highly desirable). Current CPR certification is required. Driving Requirement: Must possess a valid Maine Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Experience & Skills: Prior experience working with a geriatric population and basic computer skills.
