Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to lift 20-25 pounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To actively supervise students in the cafeteria during the lunchtime period. The Cafeteria Aide will help with the transition of students into and around the lunchroom. They will also assist students in the orderly procurement of their lunches. The Aide will help supervise students while eating to assure that they are orderly, safe, and mannerly during the lunchtime.

The Aide will work with students to learn appropriate lunchroom etiquette, good manners, cleaning up after themselves, and encouraging appropriate, positive intermingling of students. Guiding student’s toward appropriate behavior while in lunch line Assisting younger children in getting lunch trays, milk and condiments. Helping children in opening lunch items.
