Control Systems Design Engineer

Join a collaborative engineering team that designs, builds, and commissions control systems for custom industrial equipment—including automation systems, robotic cells, and innovative production machines. This role involves electrical schematic design, PLC/HMI programming, and system integration from concept through commissioning and is based out of our Whitehall, Michigan location.

Primary Responsibilities Design electrical control systems for industrial machinery Develop AutoCAD Electrical schematics for panels and machines Program PLCs and configure HMI/SCADA interfaces Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems Support commissioning and troubleshooting at production sites Manage work within project budgets, schedules, and documentation Ensure compliance with CE, NEC, NFPA 70E/79, and safety standards Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics Ability to travel up to 25% Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
