Dog Evaluator - change title

Skills: Dog Evaluator Core Objectives Under the direction of the operations management team, the Dog Evaluator will apply learned skills and knowledge to effectively make decisions for the facility with participation in group daycare services in conjunction with policy and procedure. The Dog Evaluator works alongside yard attendants to ensure a safe dog daycare environment and works alongside customer service agents to drive sales to new clients.

The Dog Evaluator position may be considered an enhancement role for current employees with an interest in dog behavior or may be hired from the outside for candidates with experience in dog behavior, handling, and/or training. Scope of Duties Dog behavior assessment Group play introduction and evaluations for safety and compatibility Daycare supervision Facilitate new client daycare sales End-of-day reporting Customer service – new client introductions/onboarding, progress reporting Vaccine verification and waiver audits Supports pet care staff with play yard supervision and/or back-of-house operations Basic cash handling/transactions Meet n Greet schedule management Referral of new clients to the training program as needed Performs other duties as necessary Reports to: General Managers, Assistant Managers Required Soft Skills: Pacesetter Open & effective communicator Transparency Adaptability Flexibility Listening Appreciation & Encouragement Disciplined Time Management Accountability Ability to work toward successful sales and performance through constructive feedback Required Hard Skills: At least one year of experience in Pet Care or similar role Excellence in customer service Strong competency in dog behavior and body language Effective in meeting sales goals Strategic planning & organization Track record for the organization of documentation & execution of objectives High Proficiency in Microsoft platforms; Excel, MS Forms, Teams Proficiency in Gingr Commitment & Compensation Full time 2 holidays off Fixed schedule Tuesday – Saturday Employee tips participation Paid time off after 1 year of full-time employment Sick time & pay
