Markandey Healthcare and Research Center is looking to hire Consultant for department of Medicine and critical care for upcoming Markandey Healthcare and Research Center. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult patients, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on promoting overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough medical evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Preventative Care: Provide health education and counselling on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and health maintenance. Administer routine screenings and vaccinations.

Coordination and Collaboration: Work with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to appropriate medical services when specialized care is needed. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and evidence-based guidelines. Continuous Learning: Stay current with advances in internal medicine by attending professional development opportunities, medical conferences, and continuing education.

Requirements

A recognized degree in medicine is essential. Must hold a valid medical license to practice in the country or region of the job.Registration with the Medical Council of India (or state-specific councils) Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Ability to collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Analytical thinking and decision-making skills for patient care. Empathy and a patient-centered approach. Fluency in the language of the region. Ability to work under pressure and manage a heavy workload. Continuous commitment to learning and staying updated with medical advancements.
