We are Looking for: The Treasury Assistant is a crucial member of the finance team responsible for a range of financial and administrative tasks. This role involves overseeing past due collections, cash management, reconciliation of checks and cash, auditing patient service representative cash boxes, ensuring proper closing procedures, maintaining meticulous documentation and records, assisting with accounting department tasks, and occasional travel as needed.

Past Due Collections: Manage the process of tracking and recovering past due accounts following established collection procedures. Communicate professionally with patients or responsible parties to facilitate payments and resolve outstanding balances. Cash Management and Reconciliation: Assist in daily cash management activities, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of all cash transactions. Reconciliation of Checks and Cash: Reconcile checks and cash received with invoices and payments. Investigate discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner. Auditing Patient Service Representative Cash Boxes & Closing: Conduct regular audits of patient service representative cash boxes to ensure accuracy.

Oversee the proper closing and balancing of cash registers at the end of each shift. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial transactions. Prepare and organize financial documents for auditing, reporting, and compliance purposes. Assist with Accounting Department Tasks: Collaborate with the accounting department to provide support in financial reconciliations, data entry, and other accounting-related tasks.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Travel: Occasional travel may be required for on-site treasury activities, training, or other related purposes. Performs other related duties as assigned.
