Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assisting in surgery
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

Schedule and compensation:

Compensation

$22-26 per hour, for each hour worked

This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday. We aim to schedule our team in 4.5 day work weeks and are also open to part-time scheduling.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience

• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of Ohio

• Proficiency in the following skills:

• Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery

• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography

• Medication administration and accurate drug calculations

• Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing

• Client education and communication

• Effective teamwork and professional communication skills

• Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
