There may be an opening that we have not posted yet. We are looking for a DAIRY & FROZEN FOOD ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team. The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment is maintained in the frozen food department. This person will be receiving, stocking, and rotating products, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude. Fills, maintains, and rotates products and displays. Confirms pricing accuracy, country of origin, and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items Receives, stores and stocks frozen products and sustains produce knowledge and preparations.

Pulls out of date products from the shelves Assists Manager with ordering products to meet the needs of the department based on past and projected sales. Maintains high standards of sanitation and freshness Assists in other duties as assigned. Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 18 years of age. Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service. Ability to read, write, and do simple math. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work well with others and work well as a team Continually strives to be product-minded, customer-minded, personnel minded, detailed, consistent and forward-focused Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays A passion for serving others Prior experience is preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frozen food associates perform their duties in controlled temperature areas as well as coolers and freezers.

Work involves walking, bending, standing, lifting, and carrying products up to 60 lbs, hand-eye coordination, and interaction with customers and associates. Duties also include frequent interaction with customers and fellow associates.
