Property Operations & Delivery Technician
Job description
Keep materials, property checks, and field priorities moving safely, accurately, and on time.
If you are someone people can count on to show up, stay organized, and follow through without constant supervision, this role is built for you. You enjoy being active, moving between locations, and handling practical tasks instead of sitting behind a desk all day. You notice when something looks wrong, take responsibility for what is in front of you, and communicate issues before they become bigger problems. We are looking for someone dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented who can manage assigned priorities, handle materials safely, document work accurately, and keep field operations moving.
THE ROLE
---
As our Property Operations & Delivery Technician, you will provide hands-on field support by picking up, transporting, and delivering materials, supplies, tools, and equipment to assigned properties and vacant units. You will also complete scheduled property checks, confirm that doors, windows, and access points are secure, and identify visible damage, unauthorized access, or other conditions that require follow-up. You will document visits with photos and notes, communicate urgent concerns promptly, and help move, stage, organize, or remove materials as needed. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage routes and priorities, stay alert to details, and complete assigned tasks reliably.
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
---
- Previous experience is not required; related experience is a plus
- General labor, delivery, construction, warehouse, moving, field-service, property management, or maintenance experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely drive between assigned properties throughout the workday
- Ability to regularly lift and carry more than 50 pounds
- Comfortable performing physical work including standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, loading, unloading, and entering vacant units
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of property security, access, visible damage, and other concerns
- Ability to manage assigned routes and priorities while adapting as field needs change
- Comfortable using a smartphone for calls, messages, photos, navigation, and basic task documentation
- Strong focus on safe driving, lifting, loading, and material handling
- Clear and professional communication with Property Managers, maintenance teams, vendors, residents, and other team members
- Ability to keep company vehicles, tools, equipment, and delivery areas clean, safe, and organized
