Food Runner

Maxime’s is a private member’s club by entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. We are seeking for a Food Runner to join our world-class hospitality brigade. Reporting to our Restaurant Manager, the Runner will work closely with the Servers/Captains and other front-of-house team members to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the highest possible level of member satisfaction, elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards at all times.

What we’re looking for: Proven success as a Runner within fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings. Fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attending to all members’ needs in a courteous and professional manner. To be fully conversant with the table lay-up and mise-en-place prior to, during and after service.

To actively assist the Captains and Captain Assistants in the food and beverage service. Thrives in high- end environments, consistently upholding superior service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Ability to work a variable schedule, including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays per the needs of the business. What you’ll be doing: You’ll be working as part of an established team delivering exceptional experiences daily.
