Maintenance Mechanic, 2nd sh + $1.00/hr. shift premium

Full Time – Monday

• Friday,11:00 AM - 7:30 PM; $35.00 - $40.00 Depending on Experience plus $1.00/hour shift premium This is a key role for the company providing manufacturing support by maintaining highly automated equipment. This position places an emphasis on critical thinking and trouble shooting skills. Custom Building Products has been a leader in the tile and flooring installation systems industry for 50+ years. We have the best brands, innovative products, plus strong customer and supplier partnerships. Custom operates fifteen manufacturing and distribution facilities in North America. Automation/robotics are part of the maintenance foundation at our facilities.

Requirements

This position requires at least two years of manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment. Candidate should be able to demonstrate competencies during interview in the following areas of mechanical/electrical maintenance; Electrical HMI experience Must have STRONG skills in Electrical trouble shooting, Industrial Controls Pneumatics Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, and labels in English effectively Must be computer literate and able to use all MS Office programs The right candidate puts safety first and is a skilled, dependable, hard-working team player Qualified applicants may demonstrate and complete a Hands-on Electrical Troubleshooting practical exercise during interview process.
