Job Description The UW MEDICAL CENTER – NORTHWEST
- OPERATING ROOMS have an outstanding opportunity for an OR Assistant . WORK SCHEDULE
- Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week
- Day Shifts (0900-1730) POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- Be responsible for assisting with room turnover, housekeeping duties in the assigned area of the OR, transportation of patients, and transport of specimens PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in cleaning and preparing surgical suite
- Assist in establishing par levels for ancillary supplies
- Transport, and assist with repositioning and/or transfer of patients
- Ensure safety of the patient in the environment (bed positioning and rails, etc.)
- Deliver specimens and transports blood products Strong candidates will have CNA certification within the State of Washington and prior intraoperative experience as an aide or orderly, or hospital housekeeping experience.
