Barista/Cafe Associate

The Barista/Caf# Associate provides exceptional customer service while preparing and serving beverages, light food items, and grab-and-go products within the Western Kentucky Heart # Lung caf#. This role supports a welcoming, efficient, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Barista/Caf# Associate follows standardized recipes, maintains a clean and organized work area, ensures accurate cash handling, and adheres to all Med Center Health safety and sanitation policies.

This position plays a key role in promoting a positive experience throughout the facility by offering friendly, timely service and maintaining high standards of product quality and hospitality.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous experience in cafe/coffee shop operations, food service, or customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to provide courteous, professional, and timely customer service. Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash and point-of-sale transactions. Knowledge of or willingness to learn food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
