JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Marshfield, WI 54524 Service Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p (1-hr lunch) Call Schedule: Weekly call: Fri 7:30a – Fri 7:30a Rounding: Mon-Sun 1-2 hours, plus afternoon rounding 4p-5p Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:4 Call Response Time: 30 mins Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 patients/day Rounding: Both Phone Consults: 5-10 Case Mix: Hematology/Oncology, Acute Leukemia, Chemotherapy, Stem Cell Transplant, CAR-T FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Specialty Backup Available: Radiation Oncology Support Staff: RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, Office Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: WI or IMLC Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS Fellowship: Required Duties & Responsibilities Provide full-time Hematology/Oncology locum coverage (no med onc).

Perform bone marrow biopsies. Manage inpatient hospital call on a 1:4 weekly rotation, including rounding and phone consults. Supervise chemotherapy patients and handle add-on consults during clinic weekday call. Document post Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post CAR-T cell Therapy patients.
