Job Summary

& Essential Functions Perform various assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor. Basic set up and operation a variety of equipment, for example: conformal coating, singulation machines, and start to train on wave solder needed to fulfill customer requirements, plus train on ERSA Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard IPC -610 and J-STD for all class levels Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction Perform minor touch ups on nonconforming solder joints such as: correct insufficient fill and remove solder bridges Minor repair or replacement of through-hole components as needed Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print Mechanically inclined Ability to use tools and testing devices Basic math computational and measurement skills Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization Required Experience & Education High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience required or proven progressive experience in machine operation Certification in IPC -610 and J-STD
