The role focuses on repeatable design solutions, high-capacity power infrastructure, and close coordination with client, vendor, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

Hyperscale Electrical Design Develop electrical designs for hyperscale data centre buildings and campuses from concept through IFC and as-built stages. Deliver high-capacity and high-resilience electrical systems including: Utility intake and on-site HV substations MV/LV distribution architectures Large-scale UPS and battery systems Standby generation plants and fuel systems interfaces EPMS, metering, and power quality monitoring Apply and maintain standardised client design templates and basis-of-design documents.

Redundancy, Resilience & Capacity Planning Design electrical systems to meet hyperscale redundancy strategies (N, N+1, 2N, 2N+1). Support power density planning and future capacity expansion strategies. Evaluate system performance, fault levels, selectivity, and short-circuit coordination. Design Governance & Client Standards Ensure designs fully comply with hyperscale client standards, technical specifications, and change control processes.
