Survey Party Chief

Responsibilities

Oversees construction staking, topographic surveys, and as-built documentation across diverse construction projects. Operate and maintain various survey equipment, such as total stations, GPS, levels, lasers, and data collectors. Perform calculations, measurements, and adjustments of survey data, using software and manuals.

Communicate and coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients, regarding the survey requirements, specifications, and results.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction surveying. Proficient in using survey equipment, software, and methods. Knowledge of the survey principles, practices, and procedures. Able to read and interpret construction plans, maps and documents.
