A job description is attached to this job posting within our portal. Brief Job Description The Claremont School District has an opening for a second shift custodian at the Stevens High school.

Qualified candidates will possess a high degree of custodial/cleaning skills to allow them to complete and fulfill all maintenance and custodial responsibilities. Candidates must be reliable, detail oriented, team players with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and have high standards for cleanliness, be friendly and able to interact with staff members, parents and children.

Knowledge of cleaning equipment, processes, and associated chemicals is required. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders to a height of ten feet and have a basic understanding of the operation and maintenance of HVAC and building support systems. Basic computer skills are a plus. Other duties may also include but are not limited to, snow removal, grass cutting/trimming, light mechanical repairs.
