Litigation Attorney – Washington, DC Location: Washington, DC, 20005 Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Collaborate with clients, co-counsel, and other stakeholders to develop effective litigation strategies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and case law. Assist in mentoring junior attorneys and support staff as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the District of Columbia Bar, Maryland and/or Virginia (Non negotiable) Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury. (Non negotiable) Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
