Experienced Canvasser – Special Project

Experienced Canvasser – Special Project Location and Timeline: This is a short term specialized blitz campaign across Michigan, with field work in Wayne County and Metro Detroit, MI. We partner with organizations working to solve some of the biggest problems facing our society -- from protecting human rights to fighting climate change -- and help them build the resources they need to make an impact.

We are recruiting individuals with a unique skill set to help us conduct a test on a new form of voter contact. These Hourly Specialists will work closely with the program lead to observe, record and translate data and observations into reports.

This role will require extensive time in the field as well as an ability to be adaptable to changing campaign needs.

Qualifications

Must have Previous canvassing experience Extreme attention to detail and a proven ability to instill that quality in others Eagerness to improve and provide feedback Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills Track record of equity and inclusion Strong passion for community organizing and fostering civic engagement Strong technical adaptability with experience using Google workspace and learning systems quickly Must be able to drive, have a valid driver's license, and meet our driver authorization standards Nice-to-have Experience with conducting formal academic studies Technical writing experience Salary and Benefits: This is an hourly position at $24-26 per hour.
