Pavement Marking Removal Truck Operator Location: Springfield, MO Job Type: In Person/ Full-Time Candidates must have hands-on experience with: Water blaster truck operation What You’ll Do Operate water blasting trucks and pavement marking removal equipment safely and efficiently.

Work directly with the Striping Manager to complete projects according to schedule and specifications. Remove pavement markings including paint, thermoplastic, epoxy, tape, symbols, arrows, and legends from roadways and parking lots. Assist with project setup, layout verification, and traffic control operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment. Monitor water pressure systems, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and recovery systems during operation. Load and unload equipment, materials, and traffic control devices. Maintain equipment logs, daily reports, and project documentation. Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns.

Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA standards. Assist striping crews and other field operations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience operating water blasting trucks with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of pavement marking removal, materials, and industry best practices. Ability to read plans, follow layouts, and perform accurate measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with the Striping Manager and field crews.
