Job description
The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications across all layers of the technology stack, including front-end user interfaces, back-end services and APIs, and database systems. This role operates within Populus Financial Group’s IT Application Service Management organization and supports a complex environment that includes point-of-sale (POS) systems, IBM i (AS/400) back-end processing, and store-level operations across hundreds of retail locations.
This position requires strong full stack development skills along with practical experience in POS infrastructure, store data retrieval, and IBM i environments, enabling immediate contribution to both new application development and ongoing operational support needs.
