Customization Associate

SwimOutlet.com is looking for Part-Time Customization Associates! Available Shifts Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Monday–Friday: 12:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

Position Summary

As part of our collaborative and diverse team, Customization Associates are responsible for customization tasks, such as embroidery and heat pressing of products, as well as general warehouse duties based on business needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and comfort working both independently and at a fast pace.

Familiarity and previous experience with embroidery, heat press, and direct-to-film machinery are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety and cleanliness to company standards. Set up and operate embroidery, heat press, and direct-to-film machines. Thread the correct colors at each needle. Follow detailed instructions to verify typesetting. Properly place plastic hoops on garments according to embroidery specifications. Complete one sample for approval before processing the entire order.

Perform preventive maintenance and clean machines daily. Verify all order numbers and garment counts. Prepare garments for heat pressing. Heat press numbers, names, and logos onto clothing and other garments. Cut and weed vinyl. Use a PC or handheld device to manage workflow. Track inventory and supplies. Sort, count, and prepare items to be shipped or picked up.

Meet customer demand and maintain established service-level agreements (SLAs). Maintain and improve quality standards. Foster a positive team environment by helping others and sharing knowledge. Provide feedback to support process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Excellent organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to detect slight differences in colors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. Essential Job Functions The position requires performance of the following essential job functions: Frequently bend, stretch, reach above and below waist level, and lift or move items weighing up to 49 pounds; Frequently use the hands and wrists, with hand-eye coordination, to grasp, handle, thread, position, sort, pack, or otherwise manipulate garments, materials, and equipment; and Stand and/or walk for prolonged periods throughout a shift of up to 10 hours, excluding applicable meal and rest periods.

The work is performed in a distribution environment that may be noisy and is not fully climate-controlled.
