CNC Operator I

Description: Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) lathe; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; hot when weather is hot and cold when weather is cold. Greasy, dirty and noisy environment. Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Standing and walking considerable distances. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
