EHC is currently looking for a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic for a client in south Houston, TX.

Job Summary

Performs mechanical duties that require maintenance on all equipment. Also, performs welding duties that pertain to the yard repairs. Job Requirements: Able to inspect and troubleshoot equipment, trucks and tractors (PM Service) Familiar with Diesel engines and backhoe equipment Rebuild machinery equipment Use of pneumatic tools Able to read and understand electrical schematics Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Clean mechanic shop Wash equipment Assist in moving equipment to and from trucks Physical Requirements: Works outdoors in all climates Exposed to loud noise, dusty environment Able to climb 40 feet and to stoop, bend or kneel in the review and inspection of plant operations and equipment Able to lift and carry 50 pounds Full mobility of hands
