1 Month Contract with a Local Authority Umbrella - £16.00 per hour

• Umbrella Job Purpose As a Cleaner , you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across a busy school setting. You will clean classrooms, offices, toilets, changing rooms, and communal areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained for staff and students. Key Duties/Accountabilities Clean classrooms and teaching areas. Clean toilets and washroom facilities. Clean offices and administration areas. Clean changing rooms and communal spaces. Vacuum carpets and floors. Mop and sanitise floors. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Dust and sanitise surfaces. Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely. Follow Health & Safety procedures and cleaning standards. Maintain a clean and welcoming school environment. Essential Experience Required Previous cleaning experience. Experience working in schools, offices, or commercial cleaning environments is desirable. Good attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Reliable and punctual. Good understanding of cleaning and hygiene standards. Ability to work as part of a team. Essential Qualifications Required Enhanced DBS (required). Right to Work in the UK. Additional Information to Note Working Hours: 20 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Shift Pattern: 15:00 – 19:00. Location: Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, Derby. Reason for Hire: Vacant Post Cover. Enhanced DBS with Barred List required. School cleaning environment. Supplier Submission Deadline: 01th October 2026. We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
