Security Site Supervisor / Shift Supervisor Andy Frain Services – Marengo, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time Positions Available: Site Supervisor and Shift Supervisor Location: Marengo, OH Compensation: Based on experience and supervisory position Job Description Andy Frain Services is seeking experienced, dependable, and professional security leaders to fill both Site Supervisor and Shift Supervisor positions at a high-security logistics facility in Marengo, Ohio.

We are looking for individuals who can lead by example, maintain strong client relationships, handle difficult situations professionally, and ensure that security procedures are consistently enforced. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and the confidence to de-escalate confrontational situations while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Supervisors will oversee approximately 5–6 security officers assigned to various access control points throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and provide direction to a team of 5–6 security officers. Ensure all assigned access points are properly staffed and security procedures are followed. Strictly enforce facility visitor access policies, including the requirement that visitors must have a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice and authorization before being permitted entry.

Professionally deny unauthorized access without escalating conflicts. Demonstrate strong conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation skills when interacting with employees, visitors, truck drivers, and contractors. Address difficult situations calmly, respectfully, and firmly while protecting the client's security interests.

Conduct regular post inspections to ensure officers remain alert, professional, and compliant with their assignments. Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniform standards, and overall officer performance. Ensure daily activity reports, incident reports, and required security documentation are completed accurately and on time.

Communicate security concerns, staffing issues, and incidents promptly to management. Train and mentor officers on access control procedures, emergency response, customer service, and professional conduct. Maintain effective communication with client representatives and Andy Frain Services management. Respond appropriately to emergencies, policy violations, and security incidents.

Hold officers accountable for performance expectations and company policies. Site Supervisor Responsibilities Candidates selected for the Site Supervisor position will have additional responsibilities, including: Providing overall leadership and operational oversight for assigned site security operations. Maintaining staffing coverage, scheduling coordination, and supervisory accountability.

Supporting employee development, corrective action, and performance evaluations. Serving as a primary point of contact for client security concerns. Ensuring consistent enforcement of post orders and operational expectations across shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous security experience required, with supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and hold employees accountable. Strong verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution skills are essential. Ability to enforce security policies consistently, even when challenged by visitors, employees, or contractors.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong judgment, professionalism, and decision-making abilities. Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful or confrontational situations. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic security reports.

Ability to pass applicable background screening and meet employment requirements.
