Overview
A well-regarded accountancy practice is seeking a qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to join their professional and supportive team. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, taking ownership of audit assignments and statutory accounts preparation, while providing high-quality service and expert technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and complete audit assignments for a broad range of clients across various sectors Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in accordance with UK GAAP Review work prepared by junior team members, offering guidance and feedback Liaise directly with clients, providing a high standard of service and resolving queries efficiently Work closely with partners and managers to ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded Assist in the development and training of junior staff Stay updated on relevant accounting, audit, and tax legislation to ensure compliance and best practice Skills and Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Experience working within an accountancy practice (minimum 3 years preferred) Strong audit background with solid accounts preparation experience Good knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficient in using audit and accounting software such as Case.
