Agency: Omd Job Function: Media Job Subfunction: Media Operations Job Description: The Director, Media Operations will partner with the broader operations team, and OMD account team to uncover, develop + execute efficiencies in team process and platform workflows. The ideal candidate is dynamic, detail oriented, and results driven.
They should have a passion for and understanding of sneaker culture, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment that delivers multiple campaigns based on the evolving goals of the client. From a day-to-day perspective, the candidate will be responsible for delivering new ideas + spaces that bring brand heat and cultural relevance, managing the process from idea to execution.
As part of a fully integrated team, this role requires excellent communication and project management skills, a strong understanding of investment tools and process, site tagging and best practice. We’re looking for someone who loves to teach, is quick to adapt, methodical in their approach, and who brings solutions with smiles.
Collaboration, an open mind, and multi-functional coordination are key in this position. You like to manage people, and grow teams that are collaborative, effective and efficient. You would be critical to the operations team’s goal to set and govern process, and your ability to provide solutions to the problems brought to your attention will be critical in achieving the team’s goals.
Must Haves Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Pivot tables, web queries, advanced functions Demonstrates strong attention to detail Experience and understanding of Media Operations – processes and workflows Experience and understanding of campaign management platforms including advanced knowledge of – Media Ocean (PRISMA, DDS), Google Campaign Manager (CM360), Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Programmatic DSPs (e.
g. DV360, The Trade Desk, Yahoo) Experience and understanding in working with Ad Operations and Trafficking teams At least 6-8 Years of relative media experience; proficiency in digital or ad operations is a plus Comfortable working with budgets and numerical values Budget/pacing and billing in an agency environment Exceptional organizational skills, applied through an ability to manage multiple projects at once Confidence in analyzing and acting on media data Nice to Haves Buying experience on an Agency Investment team – any channel Experience setting up Campaigns/Packages/Placements in Media Ocean’s buyer workflow Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Datorama, and PowerBI Familiarity with planning tools such as Plan It or Media Tools Familiarity with project management tools like HIVE and Smartsheets Previously worked with Offshore Teams in any location, in any capacity Understanding of Financial Operations workflows and/or agency billing process Responsibilities: Creating and delivering on the vision of the media ops organization Lead account team to drive rapid development of processes, standards, and innovative solutions Serve as the day-to-day client lead for all BAU needs Proactively partner and lead across global/regional/local market team peers to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and feedback channels as required Lead for defining and managing technology-driven processes that enable efficient resource and time management to drive effective and efficient media buying & management, globally Drive and share the vision for ad/mar tech evolution for the client brands, globally Provide expertise across data sources to drive development of governance solutions (processes, technologies, etc.)
to ensure visibility to goals and requirements across reputation, brand, financial, efficiency, and execution requirements Support the broader OMD team in implementing the planning process, while ensuring alignment with other cross-functional agency teams and client partners Drive rapid development of processes, standards and innovative solutions Drive and share the vision for tech evolution for the client brand Accountable for timely delivery of critical initiatives and rolling out new standards Work closely with team members across Operations, Planning and Digital teams to ensure smooth and productive cross-team collaboration Maintain an understanding of all current projects (across planning, marketing science, digital and investment teams) Develop and implement consistency across the LOBs within documents, templates and process.
Coordinate inputs from appropriate parties, and ensuring the team meets deadlines Work in tandem with key team members to track and manage team assignments and workload Support Team onboarding process in partnership with hiring manager Help support budget and campaign tracking documents and other key workflow materials and processes on an ongoing basis and issue to monthly.
Ensure that all campaigns comply with OMD and the client’s Legal requirements and fully leverage pricing and added value benefits from agency negotiations Regular Status Meetings/Con Calls – taking minutes when needed; ensuring all team members are on track with follow-ups Define, determine, collect and distribute best practices & best thinking from around the team Ad hoc troubleshooting when requested by the team to ensure functionality, proper tag fires, correct variable mapping, and events Provide guidance and support to Dev teams on migration to new technologies and offerings from partners, such as server-side tagging Facilitate QA of in-platform data flows (e.
g. Meta, TTD etc.) based on client site pixel implementation Collaborate with Client Marketing team to communicate pixel update internally and submit requests
New York: $145,000.00-$170,000.00 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
