• Alturas, CA, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: Not Specified, Salary Range: $19.28 - $19.28Hourly, Modoc Medical Center (MMC) is now accepting applications for our upcoming Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Class starting Monday, November 2, 2026. This paid, 8-week program provides the skills and experience needed to begin a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Students receive classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, and wages while learning. Upon completion, participants are prepared to take the California CNA certification exam and start working as a CNA. What CNAs Do
• Assist patients and residents with daily living activities (bathing, feeding, mobility)
• Monitor and report health changes to licensed nursing staff
• Provide comfort, support, and companionship
• Promote safety, dignity, and quality of life in care settings What You’ll Gain in Our Program

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen
