Kitchen Assistant/Cashier

Description: Effective immediately the Child Nutrition Office will accept applications for the above Cashier/Kitchen Assistant position. The salary range for this position is $19.24 � $22.03/hr. based on the 2026-27 salary schedule between ISD #197 and SEIU Local #284. Location: Two Rivers High School Hours: 8 :00 AM - 2:30 PM (6 hours per day) Job Summary: Assist in forecasting daily meal needs and may request products accordingly from the person in charge Assist with preparing and serving meals for students, staff and special functions.

Effectively operate the Point of Sale System and able to handle money and prepare bank deposits effectively Ensures that each reimbursable meal sold meets USDA requirements. Performs a variety of kitchen cleaning duties. Assist with setting up serving line and serves meals according to meal patterns. Projects a positive & professional image of themselves, their school and the Child Nutrition Dept.
