The City of Plano is looking for dependable and detail-oriented people to join our team as Permit Technician I in the Building Inspections Department. As a Permit Technician I you will be responsible for initial contact with customers and ensuring the integrity of our building permitting process. Workload rotates between: Manage Departmental Phone Inquires Provide Feedback and Correction on documentation submitted via E-mail. Forward submittals for next stage Plan Review. Counter Service for walk-in customer interaction.
