• ARCADIA, FL, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Business Office and assisting with employee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, personnel records, employee education, and regulatory compliance. MUST HAVE EXCEL EXPERIENCE The Human Resources Assistant ensures that employee files, background screenings, employment documentation, and required training records are maintained accurately and in accordance with facility policies, Florida AHCA requirements, applicable CMS regulations, and federal and state employment laws. The position requires confidentiality, organization, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with employees, department managers, applicants, and facility administration.

Human Resources Assistant – Job Summary The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employee records, background checks, training, credential tracking, and regulatory compliance.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in Microsoft Excel Key responsibilities include: Processing applications and assisting with interviews and hiring. Completing and monitoring background checks and new-hire paperwork. Maintaining accurate and confidential employee files. Tracking licenses, certifications, training, and required education.

Assisting with employee orientation and onboarding. Supporting AHCA, CMS, and facility compliance and survey readiness. Maintaining employee information in Paycom and other HR systems. Reporting missing or expired documentation to HR leadership. Protecting confidential employee and facility information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, Microsoft Excel experience, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
