Phlebotomist - PRN

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team on a PRN basis. Essential Skills Assists Clinical Lab Scientist with laboratory specimen processing and clerical work when needed. Maintains laboratory and pathology work area, blood collection trays, supply inventory and ordering process.

Completes duties in a time efficient manner, knows how to prioritize STAT orders, ASAP orders, scheduled orders and outpatients. Performs proper patient identification process following hospital’s patient identifiers prior to blood collection or EKG procedure. Consistently draws blood competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.

Performs EKG's efficiently with timely completion of annual EKG competency. Requires minimal supervision in performance of job duties but seeks guidance and direction whenever needed.
