Shipping and Receiving Forklift Driver

Position Summary

Prepare and load product orders for outbound loads as well as unloading supplies from trucks and monitor quality of product packaging. Document and maintain appropriate records for loads and inventory. Essential Job Functions:

• Load/unload product from semi-trailers
• Verify correct documentation for orders, pallets, and loads are correct
• Document inspection of trailers before loading
• Assemble product orders- includes pallet wrapping
• Prepare product for shipment according to customer specifications- Includes and is not limited to “No Box,” packaging repairs/rework, product cleaning, and special labeling
• Maintain clean work environment, and complete documentation required by agriculture agencies and/or the dairy plant
• Keep forklift and other instruments in excellent operating condition
• Comply with all processes and procedures of BRC manual to assure safe, quality product Schedule: Normal: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Required if needed to complete any essential Job Function: Saturday and Sunday Wage:
• $21.00 per hour
• Wage open based upon experience
• $3.00 Shift Premium 6pm-6am. Monday-Friday. All Day Saturday
• 1.5x pay over 40 hours Requirements: Physical Requirements: This position requires the following frequent actions and/or conditions:
• Long periods of sitting and/or driving
• Lifting 55lbs. from floor
• Twisting, bending, and squatting with 55lbs object in hand Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certifications: Forklift Certification
• Experience: 1-3 years in a forklift driving position
• Willing and able to perform all job essential functions with or without accommodation
• Willing and able to be exposed to/perform all physical and environmental factors Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with thorough documentation on loads
