Platform SW Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Software Engineer to develop the platform firmware and low-level drivers for our next-generation electro-optical sensing hardware. You will bring up new boards and So. Cs and own the foundational firmware that everything else runs on.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain platform firmware and board support packages (BSPs) for Gen2 hardware Write and optimize low-level device drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, DMA) Bring up new boards and So. Cs from power-on through functional firmware Implement bootloaders, hardware abstraction layers, and power management Integrate firmware with RTOS Debug hardware/firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD Optimize for performance, memory footprint, and real-time constraints Collaborate with silicon, hardware, and application teams on interfaces Required Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science 7+ years embedded firmware / driver development in C (and C++) Strong understanding of microcontrollers/So.
