This is an opportunity to sell comprehensive tree-care solutions-not just tree removal and pruning, but also Plant Health Care programs that help clients protect the health and long-term value of their landscapes. You'll partner with another sales arborist serving neighboring Atlanta territories, with company-supported marketing and digital lead generation to help fuel your success.

The Role

The Arborist Account Manager is a year-round career focused on consultative sales, territory growth, and long-term client relationships. As the face of the "Joshua Tree Experience," you'll evaluate properties, identify tree and plant health needs, and close premium service agreements.

We're looking for someone who can turn an initial tree-care inquiry into a lasting client relationship by recommending both immediate services and ongoing care.

Core Responsibilities

  • Territory Growth: Actively prospect, generate referrals, and build new business throughout Woodstock, Acworth, Canton, Alpharetta, and Cumming. Leverage company-supported marketing campaigns and digital leads while developing your own pipeline.

  • Comprehensive Tree-Care Sales: Sell tree removal, pruning, and plant health care services through a consultative, relationship-based approach.

  • Plant Health Care Development: Identify opportunities for ongoing plant health care programs, educate clients on recommended services, and build recurring client relationships.

  • Property Assessments & Proposals: Conduct thorough site inspections, evaluate client needs, determine accurate job costs, and deliver clear, professional proposals.

  • Client Experience: Provide prompt follow-up after services, ensure client satisfaction, and generate repeat business and referrals.

  • Operational Partnership: Collaborate with office staff and production crews to communicate job scopes, client expectations, and service requirements.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Model our core values: Reliable, Team Player, Improve & Adapt, and Find a Way.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of proven success in outside sales, B2C sales, or territory management - required.

  • Knowledge of plant health care programs and the ability to explain and sell them effectively - required.

  • General tree-care knowledge, including tree removal and pruning services.

  • ISA Certified Arborist credential - preferred.

  • Georgia pesticide applicator's license - preferred.

  • Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Comfort working with computer systems, mobile technology, and digital proposals; CRM experience is a major plus.

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and flexibility to accommodate client schedules.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a commission-driven sales opportunity for someone motivated by performance-based earnings.

  • Total Annual Earning Potential: 110,000- 150,000 through base salary and commissions. Actual earnings depend on individual sales results; this range is not guaranteed.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with shared-cost options.

  • Company-paid short-term disability insurance.

  • Six paid holidays and five days of PTO, with PTO increasing each year of service.

  • Company-owned sales vehicle for sales calls, with take-home privileges. Personal use is not permitted due to insurance limitations.

  • Company-provided cell phone and tablet.

  • Ongoing professional development, including company-paid exam fees, license renewals, and continuing education for credentials deemed necessary for the role.
