Job description

In this role, you’ll play an important part in creating and leading engaging group and one-on-one recreation programs that support social connection, wellness, fun, and a strong sense of community. What You’ll Do 🎨 Bring activities to life: Encourage and facilitate a variety of group and 1:1 recreation programs based on residents’ interests, abilities, and needs.

📅 Keep the calendar buzzing: Lead and facilitate daily scheduled group programs that give residents opportunities to socialize, participate, learn, create, and have fun. 🤝 Build meaningful connections: Foster positive relationships with residents and encourage participation in a welcoming, inclusive environment. 👥 Guide the group experience: Facilitate group activities and appropriately supervise residents throughout recreation programs.

🛡️ Put safety first: Provide a safe and supportive environment for residents while following all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. 💡 Bring your creativity: Help develop new and engaging program ideas that keep residents excited to participate and connected to their community. A Special Leadership Opportunity This position may also provide an additional stipend opportunity to temporarily cover the Director of Resident Engagement role during a leave of absence (LOA) .
