1st Shift Hand Assembler

Position Title: Specialty – Hand Assembly Pay Rate: $18.54/hr. Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time OT and Weekends may be required Physical Location: 2150 Hwy 12 S Ashland City, TN 37015 423-542-1569 The Job You Will Perform: The Specialty Assembler will work closely with the Specialty lead and is responsible for processes in the Hand Assembly/Specialty Department, such as Corrugate Parts assembly, some hand assembly and some machine assembly.

The Specialty Assembler works as a specialty employee in hand assembly and performs the following duties: Standing entire shift Corrugated Parts Assembly by hand and use of Bandsaw Hot Glue Assembly Packing Assembly Strapping and Banding General Housekeeping MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS REPEATEDLY THROUGHOUT SHIFT Light lifting between 1 and 10 lbs.

(multi-task) Stooping, walking, bending, twisting, standing, sweeping, hand motion, wrist motion, body rotation, counting, reading tape measure. Work in an environment that is often very hot in the summer. Comply with safety policies and procedures. High School Diploma Preferred/GED 3 Months Experience (Corrugated packaging setting) Manufacturing experience preferred The Skills You Will Bring: Able and willing to perform and sustain productivity goals Comply with all IPs Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.

Must have ability to learn and understand production schedules. Must have ability to understand all operations of the specialty department. Must be dependable and reliable Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.
