Job Summary

& Responsibilities We are looking for a software quality assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in verification and validation of complex software. You will be a key contributor in a team developing next generation solutions for our Lithography Business Unit. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our products.

Job Summary

& Responsibilities Perform requirements-based and system level testing ensuring quality and efficiency for Onto's Lithography Business Unit solutions Analyze and verify software requirements for testability, clarity and completeness Develop comprehensive test plans for new features and products Investigate, reproduce, log and escalate issues/defects Develop efficient test strategies (test cases and procedures) for the different sub-systems comprising the product Develop and execute automated and manual tests, regression, functional, and acceptance tests Conduct thorough testing software to ensure high-quality and reliable operation Participate in the design and implementation of new features and functionalities Cross-functional collaboration with software, hardware, manufacturing and applications teams to validate software Applicants must possess the ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Ability to understand requirements and design test strategies and plans based on those requirements 2+ years in software testing and/or systems level testing for highly technical applications Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality.

Ability to design and execute test strategies and plans based on requirements and functional designs Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills Desired Qualifications Experience with Linux is a plus Experience with Test. Reail is a plus Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban is a plus Experience in a programming language such as c, python, or java is a plus Experience working in the semiconductor industry or other high-tech STEM industry Ability to travel both domestically (~10%) and internationally (infrequent and only when needed) Why Join Onto Innovation?

Compensation

& Growth

• Base Salary Range: $72,080.00 - $108,120.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications. Additional Rewards: Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
