Location: Canon Court, Abbey Lawn, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 5DE Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (PAYE) Hours: Monday to Friday 4:30pm – 6:45pm 11.25 hours per week Contract: Temporary to Permanent About the Role We are recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a modern commercial office in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time evening work with the opportunity to secure permanent employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness while working independently in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
General office cleaning Vacuuming, mopping and dusting Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns Working safely in accordance with all site procedures Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working as a lone worker where required Comfortable acting as a key holder and using an alarm system where applicable Good communication skills Right to work in the UK Pre-Employment Requirements Successful candidates will be required to complete: Right to Work verification Employment history checks where required Site security and compliance checks Candidates must bring original Right to Work documentation to their site induction.
