Safety & Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a experienced, motivated and hardworking individual to join our Company’s Safety and Compliance Sector to promote high standards in Safety and Compliance. DUTIES: Compliance Monitoring ELD and Log Books Audit Driver Qualification Files Equipment files Date entry for Fleet maintenance records Driver Orientation Report and schedule follow-up with drivers on any violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims and other incidents as they occur Work with other departments to improve driver retention and handle driver complaints Perform other administrative and general tasks as they arise Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills English Second Languages Always an Asset Keen attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills Computer proficiency – Excellent computer knowledge – Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, Email Trucking Software knowledge is a plus Able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to organize work to meet deadlines Data base management skills a must Available to work on some weekends if required Experience with other trucking companies is a plus General understanding of North American regions
