Starting wage is dependent on the starting position . Zanesville Welfare Organization and Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking dependable, customer-focused, and motivated individuals to join our retail store team. This general hiring requisition is intended to support staffing needs across multiple retail positions, including Production Workers, Cashiers/Retail Store Workers, and Key Holders.

Team members play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience, maintaining an organized and welcoming store environment, processing donated goods, and supporting Goodwill's mission. Depending on the position, responsibilities may include receiving, sorting, inspecting, pricing, preparing, and stocking donated merchandise; assisting customers with purchases and inquiries; operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems; maintaining clean and organized sales floors and production areas; and supporting daily store operations.

Team members may also assist with merchandising, replenishment, recovery, donation processing, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. Employees in Key Holder positions may be responsible for opening and closing the store, securing the facility, supporting daily operational procedures, assisting with team direction, and helping ensure store policies and procedures are followed.

Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, professionalism, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, sorting, and moving merchandise, with or without reasonable accommodation, depending on the position.

This requisition will be used to recruit and hire qualified candidates for current and anticipated retail staffing needs across the store. Final position assignments and responsibilities will be based on business needs, candidate qualifications, and the requirements of the individual role. Basic Functions: Responsibilities include: sorting donations, hanging clothing, pricing/displaying merchandise, providing customer service, running the register, working on the sales floor, performing custodial services, and loading and unloading truck.
