Director, Advanced Capability Development — Fighter Aircraft Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (on-site) Our client is seeking a director to lead advanced capability development for a flagship fighter aircraft program. You will set the roadmap for next-generation upgrades and carry them from concept through customer approval and funding.

What you'll do

Own the capability development roadmap and align it with customer requirements and budgets Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, program management, finance and business development Shape and win new development contracts and modernization efforts Brief senior executives and government customers on progress, risk and investment priorities Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team What you bring Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field; advanced degree preferred 15+ years in aerospace and defense, including 8+ years leading programs or technical organizations Track record growing a development portfolio with government customers Active security clearance strongly preferred
