Solid Waste Equipment Operator

The City of Roanoke is seeking a Solid Waste Equipment Operator to operate automated side loader, knuckle boom and/or packer truck depending on route assigned. The successful candidate will function as the primary point of contact with citizens concerning solid waste, recycling and bulk/brush issues. Drivers service over 900 residential and/or business locations per day.

Customer service is essential. Must be able to read maps and logically plan most efficient route.
