Automation & Controls Technician
Job description
AMPI is immediately hiring the Automation & Controls Technician. The Automation & Controls Technician serves as a site-level subject matter expert for industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, and related technology supporting a dairy manufacturing facility. The role provides hands-on technical expertise across fluid processing, cheese making, CIP, utilities, packaging, and material handling systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Working as an individual contributor, this position partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and corporate technical resources to troubleshoot complex issues, improve equipment and process performance, and advance the site's automation capability.
