Requirements

/ Qualifications Required Qualifications: Possession of CPR and First Aid Certificates. Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have completed (1) two years of study (minimum of 48 semester units) at an institution of higher education OR (2) possession of an associate’s (or higher) degree OR (3) met a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (or, as appropriate, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness).

Pre-employment Health Screen Desired Qualifications: Courses or training in child care, child guidance, or child development Enthusiasm for and commitment to assigned tasks Fluency in Spanish Qualified applicants are directed to submit a classified application, a copy of equivalent of U.S. high school diploma or GED, proof of paraprofessional compliance, and a copy of CPR/First Aid certification to the District Office at 1102 5th St.
