Sr. Maintenance Worker

Department: Ball Park Operations | Location: Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati, OH Reports To: Director of Maintenance FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Job Summary The Maintenance Worker I position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a number of items throughout the ballpark including seats, ceiling tile, concrete and drywall patching, panic hardware, and other miscellaneous items through the Great American Ball Park footprint.

Additionally, they will be charged with following a preventive maintenance schedule, and assisting management with the development of capital purchases. This position must work extended hours that includes nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season. They are also on call for emergency situations that arise.

Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma Experience: 2 years experience with basic knowledge of repair and maintenance in a commercial setting Skills: Basic knowledge of other trades Preferred (Desired) Qualifications Education: High School and Trade School Diploma Experience: 4 years experience with basic knowledge of repair and maintenance of drywall patching and install, ceiling tile install and replacement, concrete work, seat replacement, door cylinder replacements, and panic hardware repairs; OSHA 10 Hour Certification preferred Skills: Computer literate with Microsoft products Self Starter with ability to multi-task Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Drywall, patching and install, painting, ceiling tile install and replacement, concrete work, seat replacement, door cylinder replacements, and panic hardware repairs: 60% Assist other trades with project completion: 15% Perform Preventative Maintenance on all related equipment and record PM on CMMS system: 15% Perform other general maintenance duties as assigned: 5% Respond to off-hour emergency calls: 5% Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 75lbs occasionally
• Work is performed primarily in outdoor settings.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 50lbs. on a regular basis.
• Use of standard office equipment (Microsoft Office)
• The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration; The noise level in the work environment can be quiet to loud.
• Must have a willingness to work long hours and a variable schedule including weekends and holidays especially during the baseball season.
• Will work games throughout the season. They will perform general maintenance work during games and may be asked to perform work that may be trade specific, as needed.
