Teacher Aide - Job Description

As a Teacher Aide, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities

Supervising and supporting children during play and learning activities

Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom

Assisting children with daily routines and transitions

Supporting individual children with patience and encouragement

Preparing classroom materials and activities

Working cooperatively with teachers and other staff

Helping create a warm and positive experience for every child

Willing to learn and grow in a Montessori environment

Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 1 year of related experience

Must be at least 18 years old

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Schedule Options:

Full-time: 8-hour shifts

Part-time: 3+ hours per day

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-6:00 PM

Location: On-site; telework not available
