Junior Medical Technician

As a Junior Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team at Al-Amal Hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the pharmacist in various tasks, ensuring smooth medication management and patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Prepare and label medications as per the pharmacist's instructions. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy work area. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, following hospital protocols. Assist in managing and updating patient medication records.

Provide customer service to patients and address their medication-related inquiries. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth medication distribution. Assist in inventory management and reordering of pharmaceutical supplies. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining patient confidentiality. Support the pharmacist in any other tasks as required, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field. Valid MOHAP evaluation letter and approved Dataflow. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic knowledge of pharmacy software and systems. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
